ATTIRE - simple minds

zara is hot hot hot at the moment, i want e v e r y t h i n g on the website. kinda annoying how everything goes out of stock so quickly though. zara is one of those places where you look at an item and you can't predict the price tag. the material and added jewels on this top made me assume it was out of my price range, but surprisingly it was only £25.99! with the detailed neckline, i think this top makes any outfit look like you've put effort into it. having jewels sewn on is great for me as i'm really lazy when it comes to putting jewellery on. i have accumulated loads of high waisted skirts, shorts and trousers for this summer, and i literally have no crop tops to wear with them. so this piece is definitely going to be worn a lot this ss. in addition to jeans, i've recently paired this top with my purple leather miss selfridge skirt. when primark has good shoes...it has reeally good shoes. i picked this cobalt pair up quite a while back, but i've recently seen a hot pink in my local primark. they're so comfy! i'm planning on wearing them as just everyday sandals during the summer as well as heels for nights out.

river island never really bothers me, but this ss14 i've loved loads of their pieces! but it does bug me that they dont have student discount, i tend to look out for when they hosting student discount days and wait to order things. these shoes are not my  usual go-to-style, i normally stick to 'girly' sandals. when i tried them on though i couldn't leave them behind! they're super comfy and update any outfit to the current trend. i did struggle walking in them at first! because your foot is so flat it unnatural to walk in them. haha but i've mastered it now and haven't taken them off since! since i bought them, river island has bought out other colour combinations of these shoes, there is now a pink/white and white/brown available.

DIARY - free from exams and stress

meeting my course friends outside big joe on the first day back at university for 2nd year feels like yesterday. i can probably remember what i was wearing! i cannot believe i just sat my last exam of 2nd year - concluding another year and chapter of university life. its hard to believe i have one year last at university! but luckily this year i only had 3 exams, whereas last year i had 6...yes stress.

for the past month...maybe longer, i have been restricted to the four walls of my bedroom revising. day in, day out, reading-reading-reading. living in my pj's has became a daily habit. changing into everyday clothes became a fun activity to forward too! for that reason, outfit posts have gone out the window...

but now its all over, i'm back - for 19 weeks 
(till the hell of final year)
